It is ex-library in only fair condition. Inside the cover there is a stamp which reads, "This book was collected during the book drive, 21st Oct to 4th Nov 1944, and is sent with best wishes from the citizens of Glasgow. There is no date. As the first edition was around the turn of the century this could be a first edition also. Binding is cracked and becoming loose. There is damage to the top and bottom of the spine with pieces missing. A library label has been removed from the outside back cover and part of it remains. Covers are grubby and worn. Edges are grubby. Dampness has caused red cover ink to bleed along the edges of a few pages of the text but does not interfere with the text. Corners and edges are bumped and worn. The book is intact, all pages present and most are clean. Please email for scans of the book if you require additional information.
