Lion Hazard Strobe Features
This fine product has been manufactured
in Australia for several years. During this time we have continually refined
the Hazard Strobes until they are now used by both civil and military users
with all expressing approval for them.
The unit is constructed with high
grade aluminium 3mm in thickness with all joints being welded for both
strength and durability and then powder coated. The strobe lenses are made
of polycarbonate /acrylic material and have aluminium crash rings which
further decrease any damage to them.
Power to the Hazard Strobe is supplied
by two internal 6 volt 4 amp hour sealed lead-acid rechargeable batteries
which give it an operating time of 6-7 hours if fully charged before use.
(A charging socket is built into the unit so the batteries can be charged
in situ).
One of the features of the unit
is its built in battery monitor circuit which automatically turns off the
strobe if the battery voltage drops below 10.5 volts and will only be able
to be turned back on when the battery is recharged. This allows the batteries
to give peak performance and life.
Hazard Strobes are priced at A$368.00
* which at first glance may seem a little expensive but as these units
are extremely durable being made from aluminium and with them being very
reparable is in fact quite economical.
A 240 volt mains powered battery
charger to suit the Hazard Strobes has been designed by Lion Electronics
to charge the batteries from flat in 10 hours. What makes the charger unique
is it can be connected to the unit for months and it will never overcharge
the batteries. It will charge the batteries from any charge condition to
fully charged and then hold them in this condition until the unit is required
for use. The charger when purchased with the Hazard Strobe is priced at
A$18.60 * |
