The French Bulldog Awareness Group of WA was formed in 1998 at which time, breeders in Western Australia banded together to "rescue" two young Frenchies who had fallen into the wrong hands for the wrong reasons. After this traumatic affair, we decided that although we were not of sufficient numbers and strength to form a fully fledged French Bulldog Club, we should form a loose association whose aim it is to provide the many pet Frenchie owners with a source of knowledge of the breed, their health and happiness, help with problems which arise, and, should the need ever arise again, an avenue to rescue Frenchie in "trouble". We raise funds mainly through donations, raffles etc and hold a Fun Day once a year, at this stage. We also put out a quarterly Newsletter for which we as a donation from recipients of $5.00 to help cover costs. (We will send the Newsletter for a year to anybody who would like to send $5.00 to the address below) Further information can be had by contacting Rick Gray (address details, etc on the Home Page) or Lynne Hudson 43 Knightsbridge Way THORNLIE WA 6108, email - earsrup@tnet.com.au
Our third annual Fun Day is to take place on 12th November 2000 - a report on the activities will appear here soon after.
