Lion Electronics represent several machinery manufacturing companies that make or supply packaging equipment and machinery aimed at the small to medium manufacturer with a view to allowing them to package their own products in-house. • Plastics Vacuum Forming Machines - Used in the manufacture of blisters for packaging and for forming plastic products up to 1 mm in thickness.
• High frequency welders - For welding PVC in the manufacturer of such products as water bed mattresses, caravan annexes, files, folders, stationery supplies, glasses cases, shoes, etc., etc., etc.
• Ultrasonic Welders - These specialist machines are used to weld plastics together where no glues can do the job as well. They are typically used in the manufacture of fishing lures, clothing (where plastics are welded to other materials), shoes and so on.
• Plastic Folding machinery - To fold vacuum formed blisters in order that they can accept a slip in card.
• Blister Sealing Machines - These are machines specifically designed to seal a blister with its product included onto a cardboard card ready for sale.
• Blister to Blister Clamshell Welders - Another type of high frequency welding machine specifically designed to weld a blister to another blister with a product inside. This method of packaging is usually done where the product should be viewed from all sides.

• Plastic Sealing Machines - A range of equipment designed to seal plastic bags in all sizes and configurations. Typically these machines are available for very small businesses where the hand operated units are popular through to foot operated versions where the operator has both hands free to hold the products and right up to fully automatic versions where the operator simply feeds the products into the machine which does the rest.
• Heat shrink Tunnels - These machines are used o feed products that are sealed into heat shrink plastics through. The even heat and speed of transport allow the plastic to shrink neatly over the product. These are available in a small version for small products or a larger unit for bigger jobs.
